As promised Bioware has started its free Server Transfer service today. It is however very limited to only 4 north american servers and 6 European servers. This is disapointing for players who are in low population servers and are not on the list of selected servers. On the positive side more servers will be added soon.

Players that are planning to transfer their characters should remember to write down their friends and ignore lists, empty their mailbox and auctions as these things will not move with your character to the new server.
