Everquest going free-to-play!

Well this is both huge news and not. Its huge because an iconic game (Everquest) is going free-to-play. It’s not because after all the game is 13 years old. Still Everquest along with Ultima Online are the grand parents of the MMO industry. They were not the first MMOs but they certainly moved MMOs from the obscure to the main stream (at least for gamers).

Everquest will be going free-to-play in March 2012, same moth the game was originally launched 13 years ago.
