This is going to be a very busy weekend for me, as I got invited to the World of Warplanes Alpha as well open Diablo III beta. So many games so little time. Reviews and videos coming soon (after the NDA is lifted) :)

This is very exciting news for anyone that wants to try Diablo 3 before the official release. Blizzard is hosting a Diablo III open beta weekend to test their server capacity. As long as you have a valid Battle.net account you can enjoy Diablo 3 open beta from Friday, April 20 at 12:01 p.m. PDT (noon), until Monday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.
If you do not have a valid Battle.net account, don't worry, you can just create one for free at http://www.battle.net
Although you will be able to try all 5 classes each one is going to be limited to level 13. Still this is an excellent way to try the new game before dropping $60.

If you want to try Guild Wars 2 before everyone else you may have a limited opportunity to sign up for GW2 beta testing. Visit https://beta.guildwars2.com/ before 1:00 p.m. EST Friday February 24th for a chance to enter GW2 beta testing.

TERA is one of those MMOs that has me a bit intrigued. On one hand the game is already launched in Korea in 2011 to mixed reviews. On the other hand the game strives to be a AAA MMO with some interesting game mechanics, combat and graphics. I am going to keep my mind open until I have an opportunity to try the game. For those of you interested in TERA you can now sing up for the open beta. Alternatively you can wait until May 1st 2012 when the game will officially launch in North America (May 3rd in Europe)

EA announced that SWTOR attracted over 2 million players during its beta test phase. Over the Thanksgiving weekend more than 750,000 players logged into the game. During that period each player averaged 12 hours of game time.
One of the most anticipated MMOs of all this year launches December 20th (or December 15th for pre-orders)

I am happy to share that I have received my schedule for the final testing weekend of Star Wars: The Old Republic. With the game launching less than a month from now I am extremely happy to get to try this new AAA MMO before making the decision to take the plunge. I will also be recording gameplay videos so stay tuned for updates on our YouTube channel.

Since the NDA has been lifted, I can share that this morning I happily received my Beta Testing invite for Star Wars: The Old Republic. I was asked to “Respond now!” since tester start dates are determined by order of acceptance. I can only imagine that this caused a frenzy among everyone that also received the same email. Enough to make the swtor.com virtually unresponsive all morning. Luckily after many tries I managed to confirm my Beta Testing acceptance by around 9:50AM MST. Unfortunately that’s 11:50 AM Easter Time, so I am sure I will not be on the top of the list to get into beta testing. Now I am experiencing issues logging in to download the game client, but I still have several days to complete that process.
